Tom is a war-weary WW1 veteran who agrees to maintain a remote lighthouse off the shore of Australia with his wife Isabel. Isabel is desperate for a child and one day her prayers are answered when an infant washes ashore in a rowing boat. Tom’s first instinct is to notify the authorities, but Isabel persuades him to keep the little girl and they live as a family until they meet the child’s biological mother on a trip to the mainland and face a decision that will affect the lives of four people forever.  The 2pm showing will be subtitled.

Phil Holt spent nearly 40 years in National Air Traffic Services and served as a reservist in the RAF, a flying instructor and worked in Maritime Air Region Operations.

In this humorous yet factual presentation the questions are asked who controls the sky? What are the systems and procedures? How will they keep on sharing the air space in “The Crowded Sky”?
