New Milton Lions Christmas Festival Events

The Christmas Festival and Carnival Parade - Saturday 26th November

New Milton Lions Christmas Festival & Parade

Saturday 26th November 2022 - 12:00 Noon until 5:00 p.m.

The Town Centre

  • Town Centre : The Town Centre will be closed to traffic for the day of the New Milton Christmas Festival.

  • Back in the Town : The renowned New Milton Lions Christmas Festival and Parade will be back in the Town Centre after being away for a number of years, firstly because of Covid and last year because of the ravages of Storm Arwen which meant we had to cancel at the last minute because of the storm force winds.

  • Range of Stalls : There are opportunities to promote and sell almost any type of product or service, or if you are a Charity or Community Group to seek to recruit new members and/or provide information, products or just to give amusement for children and adults.

  • Food and Drink : We will also welcome applications for Stall spaces selling food and drinks - please email alan.watson@newmilton.net  to confirm details of concession prices.

  • Entertainment : The Stage will be in the Centre of the Town hosting a variety of Musical Acts.

  • Christmas Parade : The Festival will include the highly popular Lions Club of New Milton Christmas Parade, which always ensures crowds of many thousands.

  • Christmas Lights : The Festival culminates in the Switch-On Ceremony of New Milton's Christmas Lights which no doubt will be further enhanced from the displays in previous years.

  • French Market : As in previous years, we will welcome back our authentic French Market which will be situated in Old Milton Road.

  • Fun Fair : Our traditional Children's and Adults Fun Fair will be joining us again this year.

  • Book Early : We can accommodate quite a large number of Stall spaces in the Town Centre, however there is a limit and therefore to avoid disappointment you are advised to get your Bookings in now.  Later in the year, there is likely to be an increase in the Stall and Concessions costs.
